To the editor: State Sen. John Loudon's bill making it easier to send juvenile offenders to adult courts for some crimes is a step back in time. Missouri has a juvenile program that is used as a stellar example of what juvenile justice could be in other states. Many legislators and juvenile officials have traveled to Missouri to see how it's done right. Please don't allow this bill to be passed. Children are never adults...
