On behalf of the library and our teen-age patrons, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the YELL Foundation for awarding grant funding for our reading programs. Over the years, YELL grant money has allowed us to offer book incentives to the young people who participate in our reading clubs and other special programs. We experience firsthand the joy that book ownership brings to these important patrons.

We truly appreciate the YELL Foundation's efforts to fight illiteracy and to bring the love of reading to Cape Girardeau's youths.
