I would like to take this opportunity to thank Kim McDowell and the Y.E.L.L. committee for awarding a Y.E.L.L. grant to the Cape Girardeau Public Library. The grant money will be used to entice our teen-age readers to participate in the Summer Reading Club.

People of every age love to own their own books. The Y.E.L.L. grant money makes it possible for us to give books to teens when they participate in the Summer Reading Club.
