To the editor:
Capitalist: One who invests in business. Wouldn't you know it? I'm a capitalist. I have built a business from scratch, reinvested my hard-earned money and, after taxes, made very little. Still I'm quite happy with the fact that I don't have to work for someone else. I also have many other nontaxable duties that include cleaning, cooking, gardening and taking care of all the critters. Life just couldn't get much better for this American capitalist, unless I could have some of my freedoms back.
I'm sure the vast left-wing conspiracy would like you to believe that "capitalist" is a dirty word. Truth is, it is, was and should be the American way. If not for the capitalist, who would work in this country? Maybe we could all go and work in the strip mine that Al Gore has a capital investment in?
Capitalism used to be one of the founding principles of this country, right along with freedom of religion. All these years later, sifting through the rubble, all that remains is a ghost of the freedoms our Founding Fathers tried to leave us with. The Constitution has been distorted, twisted and tossed to the wind, right along with your right to worship, carry a gun, freedom of speech, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If these are the great advancements of the left-wing party, then send me back in time to the age of the robber barons. At least I'll know who the real pigs are. Maybe I could head them off at the pass and start the Libertarian Party a little sooner, then maybe the Democratic Party wouldn't have existed. But, then, what would the Republicans do for recreation?
I am libertarian, capitalist, hard-working and God-fearing, and I personally would never condone an abortion after the ninth week when the brain starts to form and would never take methamphetamines even if they were legal. That's just what kind of person I am. I think I'm a real American. Are you?
Vote for the way of life this country was founded on. Vote Libertarian.
