To the editor:

Season's greetings! Please allow me to tell you about the cause.

The cause is fundamental reform of our federal government. The only moderate way to help the cause requires us to formally amend our fundamental law. We must formally amend the Constitution of the United States.

Our Congress should propose needed reform amendments to our states for traditional ratifications, but Congress does not. Congress cannot or will not make amends, but you can.

Since Congress does not propose amendments to our states, SHOULD OUR STATES PROPOSE AMENDMENTS TO CONGRESS?

If you agree, why not clip this letter and give it to one of your political friends? Better constitutional government will help all Americans. This cause is worth your support. With you and yours, we can give our future a lasting, living, giving monument to the best of our best politics: the 28th Amendment. Let's do it!
