LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

Dear Mr. Evans,

Thank you for your review of Jackson High School's Drama Club performance of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Nights Dream" in the Jackson Signal. The cast and crew worked very hard to present the play.

Having our efforts reported in your newspaper encouraged us to do our best. We appreciate your support, both the article before the play and your review in the Sunday paper.

We would also like to extend thanks to Ms. Fisher who made this possible. Rarely would a high school drama teacher take on a Shakespearian play with an inexperienced cast. Ms. Fisher helped us understand our lines to make Shakespeare come alive for us. Few people realize the time it takes to produce a play. Ms. Fisher was not only our director but also costume and set designer.
