To the editor:
Soon our lawmakers will be back in Washington getting ready to do battle over assisted suicide. Pro-life House Judiciary chairman Henry Hyde, R-Ill., and pro-life Sen. Don Nickles, R-Okla., the assistant Senate majority leader, have introduced a bill that would deny physicians a federal license to prescribe drugs for assisted suicide.
While our representatives and senators are in their home districts, it might be a good idea to contact them and let them know where you stand on the issue of euthanasia.
If your are concerned about this issue, also contact your local chapter of Missouri Right to Life. It needs your help, financial as well as helping hands, if we are to keep euthanasia from becoming legal here in Missouri and throughout the United States. You can contact SEMO Lifesavers at 335-0665. If there is nobody there to take your call, you can leave a message.
