LETTERS: THANKS FOR TOOTSIE ROLL SUPPORT

To the editor:

On behalf of the Fr. Marquette Council NO. 11205 of the Knights of Columbus, we want to sincerely thank the citizens of Cape Girardeau and surrounding areas for their support during our annual Tootsie Roll drive for the mentally handicapped Oct. 10-12. We are specifically grateful to the area businesses that were so generous to our cause and the local city governments for their support. Once again, the response from area residents was tremendous. The enthusiasm and generosity from the local residents is greatly appreciated. All these things helped to make our event a huge success. The money collected from the drive will go to help the mentally handicapped in our area.

Once again, we want to say thank you.
