To the editor:
On behalf of the Fr. Marquette Council No. 11205 of the Knights of Columbus, we want to sincerely thank the citizens of Cape Girardeau and surrounding areas for their support during our annual Tootsie Roll Drive for the mentally handicapped Oct. 11-13. The response from area residents was fantastic. We encountered only goodwill, generosity and genuine caring from the local residents. All these things once again helped to make our event a huge success. The money collected from the drive will go to help the mentally handicapped in our area.
Once again, we want to say thank you.
