To the editor:
This is in response to Louie King's unhappiness letter. King must be watching CNN (Clinton News Network), MSNBC or CNN Headline News to come up with his comments about the presidential elections.
He does not mention that all ballots were counted at least three times (except military ballots, which were not allowed) or the fact that Gov. Jeb Bush recused himself or that Secretary of State Katherine Harris only followed the laws of Florida as she swore to do.
I suggest that if the Supreme Court was as biased as suggested that we would not be killing our future on a daily basis, homosexuality would still be in the closet where it belongs, children would be taught they are made in the image of God instead of a tadpole and police officers would be able to better enforce the law.
If you want to be angry, consider that two-thirds of the nation's polls were still open when the Voters News Service declared Al Gore the winner in Florida. How many seats in the Senate and House do you think that affected?
