LETTERS: STATION'S CALL LETTERS WERE ADDED

To the editor:

My show, "Let's Talk Business," has been pulled from the air because you added the call letters KRCU and the licensee's name to my letter. I purposely did not put in the call letters, because I did not want my opinion to be confused with the station's. Since you added KRCU to my letter, you should have added, as I state on every show, that the comments contained in the show are not necessarily those of either KRCU or its licensee. Please inform your readers that your paper added the call letters and licensee name.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Mr. Correll signed his letter as "Host of Let's Talk Business." The Southeast Missourian added the additional information that included the name of the radio station, KRCU-FM -- where the program is taped and aired and where Mr. Correll is a volunteer -- and its licensee, Southeast Missouri State University.
