To the editor:

On behalf of the Salvation Army, I would like to thank you and your staff for the positive support you have provided us over this past year. You have done for us what our limited funds and resources could never do. You have carried the story of the Salvation Army to countless homes throughout our area.

The needs of the community are enormous and regrettably growing each year. The Salvation Army is committed to long-term service to restore hope to those in crisis. You have chosen to reach out to them by telling the story of the Salvation Army, and we are deeply grateful to you. Your compassion will enable us in the future to continue to feed the hungry, house the homeless and care for those lives in trauma. It is on their behalf that I express to you our thanks.
