To the editor:
While visiting my daughter in Cape Girardeau, I experienced chest pain. My husband and daughter thought it best to go to the hospital to check the pain out. We were here from West Plains, and going to a strange hospital was a little difficult.
Upon arriving at the emergency department, I was taken immediately to the chest pain center. At least five people began caring for me. All were very efficient and professional and, at the same time, so kind.
I wish I had all the names of those who helped me, but two nurses, Scott Bond and Jean Bloodworth, were extra nice. They did everything to make me feel as comfortable as possible under the circumstances.
I would also like to thank Dr. Robinson, who has a way of making you feel at ease. I have nothing but praise for the staff.
I think Cape Girardeau is very fortunate to have such an outstanding staff and caring nurses in the chest pain center.
