To the editor: This letter is in response to Tamara Baremore's letter. James C. Roche may not have land that would be taken away, but he does live near the proposed lake site. I would not have land taken away for the lake, but I would probably lose some because of the roads that would have to be put in to serve the lake. In fact, not only would there be taxes for the lake to be built, there would be taxes for new roads and bridges...

I would not have land taken away for the lake, but I would probably lose some because of the roads that would have to be put in to serve the lake. I have lived in the Millersville area all of my life and would hate to see the way of life out here change. If Ms. Baremore will not mind giving up her home for a lake, it must not be much of a home to her anyway.

Also, it doesn't seem to bother anyone on the Lake Facts Committee that so many cemeteries would be affected by the proposed lake. The Lake Facts Committee also seems to think that there would be as many people come visit this lake a year as go to see the Grand Canyon. Get real.
