LETTERS: CONGRATULATIONS ON AWARD
To the editor: I read with interest the May 7 edition of the Southeast Missourian and noted the Random Acts of Kindness Week award your staff and newspaper received. These awards are not accidental, and they don't come easy. Gary Rust, Sen. Peter Kinder and all the staff at the Southeast Missourian have provided many people with a source of principles, truth and fairness that help guide the lives of many people -- especially the youngsters...

I read with interest the May 7 edition of the Southeast Missourian and noted the Random Acts of Kindness Week award your staff and newspaper received.
These awards are not accidental, and they don't come easy. Gary Rust, Sen. Peter Kinder and all the staff at the Southeast Missourian have provided many people with a source of principles, truth and fairness that help guide the lives of many people -- especially the youngsters.
It's nice to feel good about a major aspect of Cape Girardeau and Southeast Missouri: the Southeast Missourian.
