LETTERS: CHRISTMAS EVE OPINION PAGE WAS THE BEST

To the editor:

Never has the Opinion page of the Southeast Missourian been more beautifully, more thoroughly and more fittingly portrayed as it was in the Dec. 24 issue. That single page stood out above the entire paper. Each column written by one of the commentators captured the heart of everyone, leaving one in complete ecstasy of its beauty.

Those of little faith were strengthened, while those of strong faith were enlightened and in awe.

The Opinion page with the excellently written columns depicted the real meaning of Christmas, leaving everyone with a warm feeling and an understanding of this beautiful Christmas season when Christ was born.

The columns on the Opinion page have made a better person of each reader, with each one giving thanks for their blessings and for you.
