My first guitar was given to me, and it only had one string to play on. Nevertheless, I wanted to learn to play this instrument, and if one string was all I had to play on, I would use that one string to play a beautiful piece of music.

In life, we are faced with circumstances which we cannot change. We cannot change the past and the mistakes we have made. We cannot change the things over which we have no control. The only thing we can do is play the one string we have to play on, and that is our attitude. We have no control over, nor can we can change, that which is inevitable. However, with the right attitude we can face the inevitable, and life can be like a beautiful piece of music.
