LETTER: READER APPRECIATES VARIETY OF `WELL-ROUNDED' NEWSPAPER

To the editor:

Thank you for such a well-rounded newspaper. You have something for everyone, if they will just read it.

I especially enjoy the articles by Jon Rust, Heidi Nieland, Mike Royko, Mona Charen and Patrick Buchanan. You give us such a good variety that we can get a good, healthy chuckle while we read our paper during breakfast.

There is so much depressing news today, which makes us appreciate the lighter side.

We appreciate Speak Out, even though we cannot possibly agree with everyone, but it gives everyone a chance to vent their feelings.

Your special insert, "In the spirit," with inspirational stories about our people last week was especially nice. I look forward to more such uplifting material.

My husband and I read the paper from cover to cover and enjoy everything you print. Thank you.
