Old Town's Cape's annual fundraising auction will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Isle Casino Event Center.
The event is named after the late Charles L. Hutson, a Cape Girardeau visionary who played a significant role in supporting the city's downtown area.
Last year the auction raised more than $30,000. It includes a live and silent auction, with items such as a Super Bowl party donated by Port Cape, a room makeover donated by Hutson's Furniture, a knitting party donated by Philanthropy, two plane tickets to stay at Drury Hotels in San Antonio, and a limited edition "Gone Girl" Christmas ornament.
Reservations are priced at $40, which include heavy hors d'oeuvres. There also will be a cash bar. Tables of eight may be purchased for $300. To make a reservation, call Old Town Cape at 334-8085.
The Old Town Cape auction is a key event for the organization, and your support is appreciated.
