On Thursday, the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission will meet in Cape Girardeau. We welcome members of this vital state body to our community and wish them well in their deliberations. That evening, the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce will have a dinner for the commission at Drury Lodge. We hope there will be a strong turnout notwithstanding the same night's Jackson-Cape Central football game, always a well-attended affair...
