To the editor:

The Cape Girardeau Community Caring Council's Aging Committee, of which I am a member, will be publishing a Cape Girardeau County resource guide for senior citizens. This guide will have listings for services offered by not-for-profit agencies as well as other service providers that have representatives on the Aging Committee. The book will be available without charge to senior citizens in the county as long as the supply lasts.

This guide would not have been possible without donations from Alliance Bank, AmerenUE, SBC, Bank of Missouri, Sheriff John Jordan, SEMO Area Agency on Aging, Jackson Ministerial Alliance, Dr. Loretta Prater and the Community Caring Council.

In addition to the donations of money, there has also been a very large donation of time and effort. We want to thank Susie Kinder for the many hours she spent collecting the data for the book and Paul Nenninger for his hours of putting all the information into the format in which the book will be printed.
