To the editor:Everyone seems to be taking shots at Republicans and those who have made mistakes. Let me remind you that it was the Democrat-filled KKK that didn't want blacks to vote. It was the Democrats who ran from Texas to Oklahoma so they wouldn't have to vote. It was the Democrats who shut down the government for weeks just a few short years ago. Maybe much of America is blind. I hope their eyes will be opened soon. Were there mistakes in the Iraq war? Yes. Were they all our president's fault? No. Once again America and the Democrats seem to forget that there was widespread support from both parties. As many die in Iraq today, it is nothing compared to what went on before. Somebody please check the military body count back here in the United States during the same time. Democrats need to stop crying, look at the facts and support our troops and our president. After all, they all fight for freedom for Democrats, too.
