To the editor: As I read the recent letter from Chad Craft, it reminded me of the outcry from the left when the Iraqi Parliament announced its two-month vacation last year. Rarely, do I agree with the left, but I did on that issue. However our elected leaders are now guilty of the same kind of neglect and indifference to their country and their constituents. ...

As I read the recent letter from Chad Craft, it reminded me of the outcry from the left when the Iraqi Parliament announced its two-month vacation last year.

Rarely, do I agree with the left, but I did on that issue. However our elected leaders are now guilty of the same kind of neglect and indifference to their country and their constituents. We are currently in a crisis with gasoline prices, the economy and continued threats from Iran and Russia, just to name a few major issues. Our elected officials have again gone to fiddle while Rome is burning.
