To the editor:
The article on sheriff Bill Ferrell was great, but only scratches the surface. Bill has a great passion for helping people and doing what is right. He has became like a brother to me in the last 30 years. He was there when my father and mother passed away and when I had my heart attack giving support to me and my family. These are only personal experiences but he has done this many times for others. His interest in helping kids learn the difference between right and wrong is sincere. He has influenced so many children with his genuine interest in their future. Anywhere he goes the children know him and talk to him. Scott County is losing a great public servant, but he will be around. Good luck, Bill.
