Combating meth

The terrible effects of addiction to methamphetamine are well-known to those who use the deadly substance, as well as to family and friends who see the torment and suffering.

Jack Bridges watched his son, Shawn Bridges, die at age 35 from the effects of meth. Before he died, Shawn participated in the making of a documentary showing how meth affects users both physically and mentally. It is a sobering story, one that Jack Bridges hopes young people can see before they think about trying meth.

Bridges is scheduling as many opportunities as he can to visit schools and organization to show the video, "No More Sunsets." He also is trying to promote a soon-to-be-completed sequel called "Out of the Darkness."

These efforts to warn us of the terrible consequence of using meth are worth all the support they can get.
