High school basketball fans from 16 schools in Southeast Missouri will be making their annual pilgrimage to the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau as the SEMissourian 2004 Christmas Tournament kicks off today. High school basketball fans from 16 schools in Southeast Missouri will be making their annual pilgrimage to the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau as the SEMissourian 2004 Christmas Tournament kicks off today.

The tournament is an opportunity for boys teams from Advance, Bell City, Cape Girardeau (Central and Notre Dame), Chaffee, Charleston, Delta, Jackson, Kelly, Leopold, Meadow Heights, Oak Ridge, Oran, Scott City, Scott County and Woodland to play on the Show Me Center's floor. The surroundings are impressive, and so is most of the play by these competing schools.
