Blunt acts on health screenings

To the editor:It is wonderful to see a governor who respects life and who also respects the values of the taxpayers. I didn't even realize that my tax dollars were going to an abortion provider? -- Planned Parenthood -- for health screenings for low-income women. Gov. Matt Blunt stopped state payments to Planned Parenthood and increased the funding for these screenings, which will give more than a thousand additional women access to these important health services without having to go through an abortion provider. Good job, Governor Blunt.
