Article notes value of archiving

To the editor:

In response to the article "Cape's history in pictures": I got a link to this article from the national archivists' listserv (the Society of American Archivists). I want to commend you for a well-written article. It's notable because it recognizes the value that archives have to a community's memory of itself. I also appreciate that the archival profession was taken seriously in this article. Thank you for your contribution to people's general knowledge and a job well done. By the way, it is a very interesting photo series. I'd like to visit it someday.
