It's time to brag on sports teams that have made Cape Girardeau proud in recent weeks.
-- Players from Cape Girardeau Central High School and Jackson High School were named to the Class 4A and 3A all-district teams.
-- The Notre Dame High School Lady Bulldogs finished No. 2 in Class 2A basketball.

-- The Jackson High School Lady Indians finished No. 2 in Class 4A basketball
-- And the Southeast Missouri State University gymnasts are seeded No. 4 in the NCAA regional tournament that starts Saturday at the University of Michigan. In addition, SEMO's women's indoor track team and women's volleyball team won their respective Ohio Valley Conference championships.
How's that for a winning season?
