Martha Floyd, St. Paul Lutheran School seventh- and eigth-grade language arts teacher, was presented the Veterans of Foreign Wars state and district citizenship education award recently at a VFW Auxiliary meeting. Floyd supports VFW citizenship programs and teaches her students what it means to respect and honor veterans. Floyd was recommended for the award by St. Paul Lutheran School principal Timothy Mirly. Floyd is active in the community with involvement in 4-H Club.
