HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. — Wayne Seabaugh, 85, of Hot Springs Village passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024.

He was born Nov. 25, 1938, in Matthews to Glenn and Cordia Troxell Seabaugh. Wayne and Glenda Parker were married May 30, 1959.

He was active in his Pathfinders Sunday School class at Balboa Baptist Church. He was a Magnolia Country Club Senior Club Champion, achieved four holes-in-one and attained the Royal Ambassador’s highest honor of Knight.

Wayne enjoyed growing Irises, playing golf, playing cards with friends and playing Words With Friends with family and friends.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Glenda Parker Seabaugh; sons, former state Sen. Mitchell (Leah) Seabaugh, Dr. Michael (Laurie) Seabaugh and Mark (Gina) Seabaugh, RN, CSPI; grandchildren, Karen (Will) McRae, Ryan (Faryl) Seabaugh, Haydn and Gracen Seabaugh, Hannah, Sarahbeth and Jack Seabaugh; great-grandchildren, Alex "Landon", Rebecca, Jacob, Leah, Andrew, Emmett, Charlotte, Everett, Aloysuis and Walter; sisters, Glenda (Elvin) Rainwater and Jeretta (Dan) Beckman; and nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents; granddaughter Shelby Seabaugh; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Parker.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time Monday, May 20, at Balboa Baptist Church.

Service will follow at 2 p.m. Monday, May 20, at the church. He will be laid to rest at CedarVale Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Seabaugh, Haydn Seabaugh, Jack Seabaugh, Andrew Seabaugh, Emmett Boeving Seabaugh, George Cupstid and Don Fowler. Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Johansen, Danny Adams, Jim Lipe and the Monday, Wednesday and Three-putt Friday golf groups.

Arrangements are under the direction of CedarVale Funeral Home inside Hot Springs Village.
