What is the most important issue facing Perryville? What can be done about it?

Jobs-we need to continue working with all the businesses in the city so we can keep the jobs we have and get more businesses to move to Perryville. Plenty of good jobs will ensure that our children and grandchildren will have an opportunity to go to college and move back here to raise their families.

What in your background or education makes you qualified for this office?

I am a life-long resident of Perryville. I am personally invested in this city and our residents. I have gained valuable knowledge in my role as alderman. I have gone above and beyond for residents in my ward and across the city. I plan to continue working hard to resolve any issues that cause concern.

What infrastructure improvements would you like to see?

We need to continue our Infiltration & Inflow (I&I) to our sewer lines in the city. Which is basically cutting the roots out of the lines then putting a plastic liner inside the existing sewer lines. We will be fixing 12 of our most troubled areas in town this year. This should stop the localized flooding. Also, fixing the sand filters at the sewer plant so the city will meet DNR regulations.
