Cottonwood ministry

It's terrible that they're trying to close Cottonwood Center. Those children can use that facility, and it should stay open. But everyone's griping about how we spend more than we get in when it comes to taxes. Nobody wants to raise taxes, the last election has showed. So then, what they need to do is figure out another way to pay for it. One thing they could do is get involved with some of the area churches. I mean, they all have ministries. Instead of sending people over to Africa or Haiti or some place like that, have them take the money they would spend on those trips and donate it to Cottonwood.

Carter in Iran

Yes, I want to comment about the problems we are having in the Middle East and where they started. You know, people are blaming, well, Bush for this. And now they're blaming Obama. And poor old Obama, he never was nothing but a neighborhood organizer. He's like a blind man in a dark room trying to find his way around. He's way in over his head. The truth of the matter, where all this trouble started, was Jimmy Carter. Remember, Carter would not back the Shah of Iran? The shah of Iran wanted to put a United States of Iran in Iran, where the women voted and everybody had civil rights. And he would have, with our supplies in his army, he would have put down these people that we're having trouble with now. 9/11 wouldn't have happened. But that's the problem. By not backing the shah, Carter actually backed Khomeini and put all these radical Muslim clerics in charge of Iran. And now that whole thing is like gasoline with a match threw on it.

Stoplight

When stopping at a light, please pull up to the white line. Don't stop a car length behind the line or a car length in front of it. If there are sensors for the light, that is where they will be. Those sensors tell the light there is someone waiting and to include them in the next cycle.

Doctor office wait times

Please, doctors, your patients' time is valuable also. When you have an appointment for 9:30 to see your doctor and you have to wait until 11 o'clock to see your doctor, this is not right. Please give your patients a little better attention than this.
