Keep Chico!

After reading the article about the young lady named Allison bonding and training Chico the wild mustang, I was dismayed to hear she would even think of letting him go to another adopter, especially since she has worked with other abused horses in the past. The thought of you doing that is unimaginable. The two of you have something extraordinary. Don't let him go.

Guns vs. no guns

There have been three attacks in movie theaters in the past couple of years. In two of them, people were killed. In the last one, no one was killed. The only difference was that in the last one the attacker didn't have a gun. Guns have one purpose: Killing. Without a gun, he only wounded a few and killed no one.

Jackson patrol

Now that Jackson school is going to start, I hope that the Jackson Police Department can do their job controlling the kids that are racing through the park every afternoon. Three times now, one of them has ended up in a person's yard. What is it going to take, one of our kids hit and killed before they will do something? We are taxpayers just like everyone else in Jackson. When we complain, we get no answers.

All the wars

Yes, I get tired of hearing about the war on women. What about the war of women on babies? The women are killing their own babies.

White House scandal

Get off Bill Clinton's back. We now know that Republican President Warren G. Harding fathered a love child with a woman inside a closet in the White House.

NFL welfare

Hold on to your wallets. How cool is that for the supporters of corporate welfare? A judge has ruled that Missouri's taxpaying citizens, who would foot the bill for a new football stadium in St. Louis, don't have the right to vote on such a proposal.

Bumper sticker

For over 50 years the United States has steadily moved away from its foundation of being a country that trusted God. And look where it has taken us. Maybe heeding to the bumper stickers "In God We Trust" will make the difference we need to bring our country back to the patriotism and freedom that our World War II veterans fought for. My father would be appalled to see how self-centered and lazy we have become. We have become an "it's all about me" society and "I want YOU to take care me." Let's try something different and live like "In God We Trust." It can't hurt us.

Reverse psychology

Don't you guys get it? The more you publish columns from establishment conservatives, the more you drive readers into the anti-establishment arms of across the spectrum presidential candidates from Donald Trump to Bernie Sanders. Frankly, I think you know this and are closet Trumpists.

History being made

I'm against expanding Cape's historical district because I believe all of Cape will soon be history anyway.
