AFTER watching and reading the news for quite a while from all sorts of different mass media outlets, I have finally come to understand how President Obama and the Democrats in leadership view the majority of Americans, and it saddens me. Their comments have made it perfectly clear to those who read between the lines that unless you walk their walk and talk their talk you are worth less to them than the dust on their feet.
I appreciate the fact that President Obama thinks he should have to pay income taxes. David Limbaugh doesn't think he should.
THAT line between hard news, soft news and infotainment was never more illustrated than in what was recently characterized as a breaking news story, that being arrested movie star Nicolas Cage was bonded out of jail by Dog "The Bounty Hunter" Chapman.
CAN anyone tell me with a legitimate reason why upper-income earners should pay a higher tax rate than the lower class? If you ask me it should be a flat rate across the board. You would still be paying more if you make more, but at least the rate would be the same for everyone. I do not understand all this jealousy against those who are successful.
I wish the parks would put in single tables for couples and small families. Shelter areas are nice for large groups.
REPUBLICAN Congressman Paul Ryan asked the Congressional Budget Office to run the numbers on his budget proposal. They did. Guess what? Ryan's proposal would increase the federal debt under current law.
