If Florida Gov. Rick Scott can do an about-face and wisely accept Medicaid expansion in his state, surely the nation's Republican gubernatorial holdouts can summon up the courage to do the same.
I can't understand why the county will charge us $15 for a shelter at the parks that we pay taxes for. Maybe they can use that for deposit and if we leave the shelter as we found it, we can get it back. I think it's only fair. I think $20 for Christmas light displays is a little high. It's for everybody's enjoyment. I think $10 is enough. Have they thought about putting up a donation box at the entrance for those driving through? County Commission, I ask you to rethink this. We want the best for our community and take care of our own pocketbooks, so please reconsider.
Democrats, you're tearing the country apart. You're bringing it down. If your own finances were in this shape would you not have to declare bankruptcy? Stop the spending.
As Americans we've been losing freedoms long before Obama. No one needs more than 10 bullets at a time, it's ridiculous. People have to worry about going to a movie theater and getting plowed down, or going to a shopping center. It's not always nut cases; it's people disgruntled with their schools or their spouses. Any of us can become victims. It's better to become proactive than let innocent people be gunned down.
This is to the thief. I cut up the firewood to heat my house, not yours. If he is having a hard time, he could have talked to me and we could have worked something out. Bring back my wood or bring me $400.
When the price per gallon of gas is heading back toward record levels, why aren't the liberals screaming, "Unfair, unfair." They can't bring themselves to admit that Obama has deceived them.
The water park needs something that is highly visible from Kingshighway such as a large dumping bucket like the Farmington park. Cape Splash always looks static and dull from the highway, even when the place is crowded. Throw some of that high-priced Cape water around to create some excitement.
