Thanks for help

I want to thank the two men who helped me on Oct. 6 at Route K and Mount Auburn Road where I was involved in an auto accident.

Smokeless dining

WE just returned from Arkansas, and it was so nice to eat in a restaurant without the smell of smoke. That state is smoke-free in all public buildings. I wish we could be that way. It makes for such a better atmosphere.

Archery range

WHAT would be nice in this area is an archery course. Archery is great fun.

Trick-or-flu

I hope enough parents and health officials are thinking about Halloween and children who will be going from house to house. Some of those houses will undoubtedly have the flu. In the week following Halloween, cases of regular flu and H1N1 flu are going to skyrocket. I hope enough parents will monitor where their children go.

Eating in

TO the person who worries about going out to eat where there are smokers: Obesity is the No. 1 cause of health problems today. Why not cook a healthy meal at home instead?
