Common Core
The tea party is referring to the new Common Core standards as Obama Core, despite the fact he and the federal government had nothing to do with its creation. The fact is they were developed by teachers and researchers at the urging of a bipartisan group of governors and state education leaders. The tea party is entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts.
