SHOULD DEMOCRATS SIT OUT?
To the Editor: After having functioned many years in the Republican Party and experienced the machinations of the Democratic Party as well, I have become increasingly disappointed with each one. In observing the present scenario ... the intractable problems brought on by the excesses of the '80s, it would seem the better part of wisdom for the Democrats to "sit out" the presidential election and let the Republicans have it for just one more time...
