Editor's note: The following has been edited to correct the year of the River Campus' opening. Groundbreaking occurred in 2003.
The River Campus is beautiful both inside and out, a community beacon since its opening in 2007. But the River Campus' charm is exponentially enhanced by the talent that wafts and weaves within. It is the art, the voice, the dance and the music that adds value, and a distinct quality of life, to our city.
The university recently released its 2012 touring series lineup. It includes "Titanic: The Musical;" Grammy Award-winning "Dr. John & The Blind Boys of Alabama;" musical "A Chorus Line;" the dancing and singing of "Celtic Nights -- Journey of Hope;" and a ballet performance of "Swan Lake."
The River Campus also announced its symphony series, a theater and dance series and other numerous musical events, which are sure to be beautiful performances.
For more information on the events and prices for season tickets, go to www.rivercampusevents.com. It looks to be another exciting and entertaining performance year at the River Campus.
