To the editor: I am really tired of the protesters here in Cape Girardeau. I am really tired of seeing the signs that say, "We don't need to kill for oil" This war is by no means over oil. It is about the fact that over 3,000 of our American citizens died on Sept. 11, 2001, for no reason whatsoever...

To the editor:

I am really tired of the protesters here in Cape Girardeau. I am really tired of seeing the signs that say, "We don't need to kill for oil" This war is by no means over oil. It is about the fact that over 3,000 of our American citizens died on Sept. 11, 2001, for no reason whatsoever.

I would like all the protesters to read this and think hard. If someone came up to you and slugged you in the face for no reason, would you fight back to defend yourself? You would, and rightfully so. But you are protesting that it is not right to defend our country.
