What are your thoughts about the arrest (and subsequent release) of a ninth grade Muslim student who brought a homemade clock to school that was mistaken for a bomb?This is racism, plain and simple.If he were not Muslim, his clock would have been no big deal.In an abundance of caution, this was the proper way to deal with a potentially dangerous situation.I can understand being cautious, but placing the student in handcuffs and questioning him for hours without his parents was an abuse of power...
