Plenty of mountain lions spotted

To the editor:

In response to the editorial "Lions and cougars and ... ": I'm so sick and tired of the debate of the existence of the mountain lion in our region. My dad has acreage in Stoddard County. On numerous occasions these cats have been sighted. As far as proof goes, I guess we could shoot one and bring them to your office. Would that make you a believer?
