Music festival's main stage didn't get good coverage

To the editor:

I just read the Sept. 30 article regarding the City of Roses Music Festival. I must say I could not believe the article focused so much on the battle of the bands. This is just a part of the weekend. Why was there no photo of the main stage, which was a barge brought in from Caruthersville, Mo.? It was an outstanding stage on our wonderful Mississippi River. There were a lot of hard-working individuals who put a lot of work and time into the entire festival. But the only blurb was on the battle of the bands. It was a great weekend, and we all enjoyed ourselves working this annual event. I hope next year's attention may be on the main stage and all of the activities. Also, there was an art exhibit as well, with no mention of that.
