My husband and I were very offended by the large picture of convict Jerome Mallett on the front page of Sunday's paper, while right next to it was a small picture of our president. We don't object to the write up about Mallett, but we think you should have had a picture of the state trooper who was killed instead or perhaps a picture of the victim's wife and children. There is absolutely too much publicity about the poor killer and not enough about the victims. Mallett chose to go the route he took, but the state trooper did not.
