LETTERS: ORGAN DONATIONS

To the editor:

I am glad to see the articles on organ donations that you have been running.

As a recent recipient (July 21), I am glad that a perfect match was found, a kidney from a young man in Texas who died from a gunshot wound. I'm sorry he died and feel for his parents. I was called from St. Louis University in the middle of the night. I had only been on the kidney transplant list for two months. I am now home and doing good.
