To the editor:

The hypocrisy of the pious political right has never been more evident than its recent call for bipartisanship. The same fairness it exhibited the past eight years should be used as a standard. Let the conservative radicals' spokespersons, editorialists, radio and TV talk-show hosts and other messengers of hate continue to render a nation a disservice by promoting their agenda of national division. For eight years, President and Mrs. Clinton have been their primary targets.

It is time for Larry Flynt of Hustler magazine to once more volunteer his services.

Flynt possesses more moral integrity than Ken Starr or any other known right-wing member. He has experience and does not require government funds. Wouldn't it be entertaining to watch the networks picturing the moral right holding its breath while Flynt conducts his investigations?

The last time Flynt delved into the personal behavior of conservatives was his exposure of the House Impeachment Committee. Members held their breath so long they no longer have a fear of drowning. Flynt would leave no stone unturned.

By the political right's definition of bipartisanship, we might get lucky. Flynt might find grounds for impeachment, and the nation could be dragged through four more years of political hell.
