LETTERS: LEFT PROMOTES DIVISION, WHILE RIGHT UNITES

To the editor:

I must respond to Paul J. Allee's letter. Conservatives are the ones uniting people. Look at President Bush's picks for his Cabinet. He has appointed the first-ever black man as secretary of state and first-ever black woman as national security adviser. This is hardly the work of a divider.

The liberals in this country are the ones promoting division and racism daily by telling us that we need to give preferences to minorities.

You know that the Democrats are going off the deep end when they have people like Larry Flynt as their leader. I hope that Allee and Flynt continue with their message of hate and division. It will mean at least eight years of Republican control of the White House and Congress
