To the editor:
I admit that I do not know for sure whether NAFTA or GATT are good for our country. I am not sure of a lot of our programs as to whether they serve a purpose in the best way. I try to follow the reasoning behind these programs, but I find it difficult to sort out the rhetoric and come up with a positive answer.
They say, when you vote, you should not be a one-issue voter, and I would say that is usually true. In the election coming up in November, I do not feel that it is the case. In this case, I feel it is definitely a one-issue election. It is wrong to kill babies. We cannot reason it out or talk it out, because there is only one answer: we cannot kill babies, the most vulnerable and precious thing in life.
To most people, the most exciting and satisfying moment in life is when you hold your newborn baby in your arms.
We have always been the world leader of freedom. Please do not let us go down in history as the world leader of death.
