To the editor:

Clinton's lying under oath and the rest of the Monica mess must not be the whole content of the impeachment investigation. Clinton's continuing assault on property rights, national sovereignty, our Constitution and law must also be part of the impeachment hearing.

Under the Clinton-Gore administration, Americans are suffering enormous loss of property rights, personal freedom, national sovereignty, personal livelihood and other fundamental parts of the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Public examination and discussion of the entire, sordid Clinton record, including constitutional and property-rights violations, also must be part of the Clinton impeachment hearing. Expand the investigation to include Gore and Babbitt.

The window of opportunity to redress the Clinton administration's massive assault on the American people is open for about 10 days. After that, the administration's unconstitutional, illegal attacks on America will no longer be impeachment issues that we can use to return our federal government to its proper duties and limits.

Here are some specific complaints:

U.S. Constitution, Article 3, Section 3: The president shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed -- not try every which way to get around the Fifth and 14th amendments' payments for property taken by the government and not enforce unratified treaties on biodiversity and global warming in defiance of the Senate and the American people, and not attempt to bypass Congress altogether and rule by executive order to set up the American Heritage Rivers Initiative and Clean Water Action Plan, and not attempt to invalidate the 10th Amendment using Executive Order No. 13083.

U.S. Constitution, Article 3, Section 4: Impeachment can be for treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors -- such as renting the Lincoln Bedroom and selling space on Commerce Department foreign visits for political contributions, and approving the transfer of weapons technology to China for political contributions.
